
Quinoa Risotto
Recipe time! Make this quick, nutritious and super yummy Veggie Quinoa Risotto for your little star. You can use any of our savoury Little Étoile Organic pouches in this recipe! Who’s going to give it a go?
Ingredients
– Olive oil
– Risotto rice
– Quinoa
– Little Etoile Organic’s Sweet potato, pumpkin & corn pouch
– Frozen peas
– Cheese (Of your choice)
Method
- Pour some olive oil into a saucepan on medium heat
- Add ¼ cup of risotto rice and ¼ cup of quinoa, and lightly toast them
- Add ½ cup of hot water and simmer, stirring occasionally until liquid is absorbed
- Add another 1 cup of hot water, let it simmer and stir it occasionally until liquid is almost absorbed
- Squeeze the whole Little Etoile Organic Sweet Potato, Pumpkin & Corn pouch into the saucepan
- Stir it through well
- Add your desired amount of frozen peas and cheese
- Stir and cook until the risotto is of a thick consistency
